“Stayed at Hotel Alta Montaña and it delivered exactly what you want from a mountain base. Clean, quiet, and well run. The staff are genuinely welcoming, not just polite, which makes a difference when you’re staying a few days. The views are outstanding, especially sitting above the cloud layer at around 1,400 meters. From a cycling standpoint, the location is hard to beat. You’re essentially on the climb the moment you roll out. You can head straight toward Teide or descend as far as you like……

Well placed for local walks, location pretty insignificant and no facilities at hotel to relax or sit outside when weather tricky, which was most days because we encountered bad weather. “Das Hotel wurde in einem tollen Boho-Stil renoviert und bietet eine sehr entspannte Atmosphäre. Alle Mitarbeiter sind durchweg sehr freundlich und gut gelaunt. Das Frühstück ist auch sehr gut, es wird immer aufgefüllt. Die Umgebung ist grandios, das Meer ist so nah und auch die Dünenlandschaft mit dem roten Berg im Hintergrund versprüht eine magische Wirkung. Da viele Sportler im Hotel zu Gast sind, ist die Atmosphäre sehr locker mit einem coolen Surf-Vibe. Das Essen im Hito 257 ist ein Muss,……
