“We had a wonderful time. Cabin was cozy, location was perfect, price was appropriate. Cabin has three full bathrooms, so it is comfortable. We went in late December 2025 - early January 2026 during a cold wave. There was no snow unfortunately, but boy it was cold. However, the heating system worked fine. There are a few past reviews claiming heating system does work properly. That was not the case for us.Also, there is a past review claiming noise from RVs nearby. Absolutely not the case. The……

“Cabin had everything we needed and was a good location for hiking in the State park.Sharing the property with a dear family and geese ducklings was nice to watch.My great granddaughter enjoyed an afternoon at the indoor pool at the rec center. Everyone was so nice. Also enjoyed going on the Blue Ridge scenictrain ride just 40 minutes up the road.”

“I couldn’t say enough about our short weekend trip here. We were in town for our son’s football tournament about 45 min away. This home was a gem! The host, AMAZING! Views were outstanding. Beds, clean and comfortable. Everything was so well thought out from the extra makeup removers, to bath robes, to good reads on the nightstand. We traveled as 2 adults and a 10 year old and 3 year old. Our son loved having the games downstairs and even though it rained Saturday we were able to enjoy the sound……

“it is a very rocky path to the cabin as has been mentioned but doable; older so had to get used to steps to upstairs bedroom but not "complaint" just Fyi. Enjoyed very much private spot, conditions and provisions provided - everything you need!! To the next family or friends who book YOU WILL ENJOY!”
