“Whilst there are elements of faded grandeur to The Imperial it has done its best to keep up with the times. The common areas of the hotel are simply splendid: the wide staircases, the spacious corridors, the breakfast and dining areas, the bar, and the magnificent views of the coastline and the bay. The hotel benefits from being at the edge of town and is appreciably quieter than the town centre. It was great being able to linger over breakfast. The chef and their staff have done well to provide……
