"The hosts/communications/check-in/availability were beyond reproach. The BEST. PERIOD. The property is perched above the Pacific Ocean with unparalleled views. Truly magnificent. There wasn’t a detail overlooked by the property hosts from delicious coffee, thoughtful snacks, a bounty of quality towels to bathroom/shower items. Honestly, you could arrive with nothing and be just fine since the owners have thought about it all!Cannot wait to return. There will be no other spot to consider as far as I’m concerned. This gem takes a guest to levels of relaxation and ahhhhh that I didn’t know possible. "

"🌊 Motel Vibes in Brookings — Surprisingly Stoked! 🏄‍♀️ Okay, so I wasn’t expecting much, but this place actually had me impressed, bro. First off made here before and it used to need paint have a lot ono carpet. No carpet now win! No weird old carpet sprinkle smell mystery fuzz, just clean, solid floors that made the room feel way fresher than most coastal spots. 🙌 The bathroom was super clean, even if a little rusty in spots but come on, it’s the coast, that’s just part of the salt life. Beds were a tad firm for this sea turtle’s liking, but they gave extra pillows which totally helped keep my body feelin’ supported. TV channels? Pretty solid. Plus, way quieter than most motels I’ve stayed in. Major shoutout for putting the smoking area in the middle of the lot no clouds creeping into the rooms. Respect. 👏 Front desk crew? Chill, friendly, and super polite. No in-room microwave (bummer if you’re hangry late-night), but there’s one up front you can use. Soaps were mid, not gonna lie bring your own. But those makeup remover wipes slapped, even if they did smell like floor cleaner. 😂 Cleanliness? On point. I know how hard it is to keep sand out on the coast, and these folks nailed it. AC worked great with zero weird smells. Clearly well maintained. Only letdown? The listing said hot tub, but it was closed should really update that, dudes. Still, the indoor pool was a nice consolation swim. Final verdict: clean, quiet, well-kept, and I'd totally crash here again. 🌴✌️"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The thing we liked best is the view, which is fantastic (unless the fog rolls in). As advertised it's a couple miles from town. The complex is adjacent to the Samuel Boardman scenic corridor, which is probably the most beautiful coastal stretch anywhere. You can even hike right from the condo! The furnishings were nice and the bed comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, and the appliances were all good. The only snag we encountered was that the check-in instructions included an obsolete gate code (the correct code is in the Access Information section)."

"The house was exactly as described in the listing. It’s in the hills but only 5-10 minutes from restaurants, bars, and beaches. The redwood forests are a quick, 30-minute drive south. The location was very convenient to everything we wanted to do and the house was beautiful and very clean. "

"This was our fourth time at this property since 2001, and it is still first rate. New family ownership a couple years ago has led to upgrades in several areas (glass cabins, spa, sauna). The location on the Rogue is great with a sweeping view of the river to the south. The restaurant is superb, though options are somewhat limited and pricey. There are kayaks and other toys available. You can get picked up at their dock for a jet boat excursion up the river. Gold Beach is 15 minutes or less away and there are great coastal spots to visit in close proximity."
