The bed and pillows were really comfy and the room was surprisingly quiet considering the hotel is next to the motorway. We had a lovely warm welcome and it was so handy for Gretna and access to Scotland. We'd stay again any time.”

“This was an overnight stop on the Coast to Coast bike ride. The staff are great, property a little tired. Breakfast excellent. Relatively expensive but was a clean warm room bed for the night.”

The rooms attached to pub are great if you’re disabled . The staff are lovely a really nice family run place so welcoming in a beautiful little village with gorgeous surroundings peaceful .
