“Far beyond what we anticipated. Warmly greeted and show to our room. Top line toiletries and added touches. Yes our room was small but well appointed and we did not plan to spend much time in the room. Wine and cheese at 5:30. 3-course breakfast at 8:30 am. Amazing! Will be back!”

“We stayed in Galena for the Great Galena Balloon Race and this place was conviently close to the event field and to the historical attractions that we wanted to see. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us and we really enjoyed our stay. Wish we had more time so we could visit the recreation center where the pool is. We definitely recommend this place!”

“The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. The couch was not very comfortable. The fireplace is not really a fireplace. The restaurant wouldn’t seat us the evening we checked in. They said they were too busy, but most of the tables were open and there was a band playing. They said we could order takeout. Very strange.”

“Resort is definitely living on its reputation. The entire resort is very tired and needs some TLC to bring it back to its former glory. Too bad the room rates are based on their former glory”
