"Beautiful location. Beautiful home. Kids loved vacationing in a castle. Loved the piano. It was put to good use. Saw at least one eagle almost every morning perched on dead tree by the river. Bunk beds were a hit with kids. Tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Very nice hot tub. Great location ..."

"Most aesthetically pleasing hotel I’ve stayed at. Clean, lots of techie things included into the room (changing the color of your bathroom lighting was fun). Rooms are good for solo traveling, may be tight with more than one. Would recommend!"

"Excellent location, close to public transportation, shopping, restaurants, lake front and only steps from Michigan Ave. and Oak Street.
Staff is always ready to answer questions and help in any way they can."

"The stay at Intercontinental was really good. Friendly and accommodating staff. They have a large fitness club with a great lap pool, several cardio machines and full weight area- one of the best hotel gyms in the country. The room was clean and spacious. My only complaint is that the bathroom had a pedestal sink with a narrow shelf behind the sink/toilet. Made it very hard to get ready - worried about things falling into the toilet or on the floor, and you need to lean over awkwardly to look in the mirror for applying make up etc. There is a great bar and restaurant in the lobby (Michael Jordans). There is a Starbucks in the lobby, but would have been nice if the hotel had free coffee set up in the lobby or somewhere. Overall a great hotel and I'd stay there again. "
