“My wife and I had a wonderful time staying here. We used the pool every day, and were within easy driving distance of many great restaurants and hikes in Harriman. Everything was clean and pleasant, and the owners were kind and respectful. We'd love to stay again and would highly recommend it.”

“The property is better than advertised. Very nicely appointed. We were traveling with an infant and a high chair was available. Bring a baby gate for the stairs inside. One is already installed on the back deck stairs. The decor is fabulous, the rooms spacious and check in and out seamless! We will be back! Ruthie M.”

“Lovely two weeks in the carriage house on the Croton River. Hosts Patrick and Kathryn were attentive and helpful, the area was full of fun adventures for my husband, a cyclist, and me (jogger and kayaker). Swimming in the Croton from the dock was so great, especially on warm days. Kayaking in the Croton was peaceful and full of fun water birds.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Cottage and highly recommend it - the pond/waterfall out back makes for some relaxing scenery and sounds. It was also a great home base for everything we wanted to do. We were in town to visit the world headquarters of Jehovah's Witnesses in Warwick as well as the Patterson office and the cottage was (relatively) close to both. The location was also great for extracurricular activities - less than 10 minutes drive to Bellvale Creamery, a laundromat, a big...

Coming from the flat lands of the midwest, the hills and curves to get to the home (especially in the dark) are something to be aware of. I was glad my husband was driving. “Just the right size. Beautiful view. Bed was comfortable and everything was clean. There is a little ant issue but other than that, everything was perfect. I'll definitely be coming back.”
