"A nice sea front hotel. We had a back twin room which was just big enough. Well decorated with a good bathroom. The breakfast was a buffet with some hot food…very high quality. No parking but it’s free for an hour and free parking is next to see the sea 3 minutes walk away Only real minor issue was the lighting in the bathroom which was so poor I couldn’t have a shave"

The carpets are threadbare & the walls seriously need replastering notwithstanding this the staff were very attentive & efficient. The food was excellent and the place was very clean. All of the above shouldn’t stop you enjoying staying in a stunning victorian hotel. I am sure the owners will eventually get the decor sorted out."

"Staff in general were very helpful and friendly. Lovely location overlooking the loch. The cooked breakfast was very good. The spa was good, pool long enough to get a decent swim. Jacuzzi and steam room nice too. The only drawback was that the spa only has 4 cushioned loungers so many guests had nowhere to lounge and read their books on busy afternoons, and there was a bit of a scramble when a sunlounger became free. Adequate parking."

Really tasty dinner (reservations recommended) and breakfast, both served in really impressive wood-panelled drawing room. I wouldn't hesitate to return here, really enjoyed the stay and would like to thank the team for their part in it."
