“First, the bad - in the middle of a hard winter storm I took a half-hour shower and the hot water ran out. Now, the good - the hotel room was head and shoulders above what I expected, with a small but functional kitchen and finishes that were less luxurious than comfortable. In the middle of a hard winter storm the staff were universally friendly, including at both hotel and bar, which each deserve their own extremely positive reviews. Both Oak and Third, the restaurant, and the Rickhouse,……

“This house is perfect for a family :) we had a few little hiccups but they were addressed immediately and Tonya went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The house is very clean, the beds are comfy, and the host is exceptional. Will stay there again if ever in the area again :)”

“The place was absolutely great for our quick family gathering. Wish we had more time down there, but definetly will visit again. Peaceful, quiet, and lots of wildlife wandering around. Sitting on porch in morning drinking coffee and watching a flock of wild turkeys come down to water at lake. Wish we had more time but everything is as stated and would highly reccomend.”
