“the cabin was a perfect small and very clean place and had everything that I needed. Everything worked and I felt I had access to everything I wanted. It would have been nice to have some steps to the creek/river as it may be hard for an older person or a non-athletic person. for me it was fine, but you had to hold onto trees and carefully navigate the short walk to the water. Too many trees to fish, but the sound took care of being close to the highway. Salida was the closest town and was……

“Stayed for a short visit and loved it! The location is great to use as a home base for side trips to Salida, Monarch Mountain or even destinations in the San Luis Valley. Comfortable, beautiful lodging and good for kids as well with the creek and little playground and sand box on the property.”

“Incredible place to stay!!! The property was MORE than sufficient for our family (9 adults & 10 yrs old). The views were STUNNING, and the drive to Mt. Crested Butte was roughly 17 minutes, which we did not mind at all. We were able to cook a wonderful hot dinner every night of our stay, which after skiing all day we really enjoyed!! Our host & hostess were AMAZING!! Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this property!!!!!!!”

“Great spot between monarch and Salida. Hot tub worked great. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub not as private as the picture implies. Highway quite loud (woke kids up several times). Internet spotty at best. Kitchen had pots/pans/ dishes but zero condiments. Hard to prepare your own meals with nothing to add (ie olive oil, salt, pepper, ketchup etc). It would be impossible to cook many meals there unless you brought your own spices and condiments. Found it odd since that’s part of the draw to……

“This property is in a great location. A few miles from Monarch for great skiing and plenty of trails for snowshoeing in the area. We also love the close proximity of Salida, our favorite mountain town. Beautiful accommodations and private hot tub cannot be beat!”
