They have been renovated and the room was fairly nice for the price, however when the people staying above turned their exhaust fan on, it was incredibly loud in our room. They left it running all night and it made it difficult to sleep as it rattled the bathroom. Prior to realising where the sound was coming from, I called the reception and was told by the same rude man “there’s not much I can do about a fan, I don’t even know what you are on about” so the next night when the noise came back on we went up and asked them if they had just turned their exhaust fan on which they had. Thankfully they turned it off around 10:30 but it was back on very early the next morning waking us all up again. If the rooms were cleaner, quieter and the aggressive man was nicer, it would be a good place to stay.
