“Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. ”

“The cabin and property are beautifully maintained. There are so many thoughtful details throughout: in the cabin, on the front and back porch and deck, even chairs at the waters edge. The hosts are gracious and kind and go out of their way to ensure your visit is pleasant and comfortable. I was welcomed with delicious baked yummies and even a treat bag for my dog. It was above and beyond my expectations, I had the nicest peaceful retreat. Thank you Frank and Linda!”

“We came to Longview for weekend to see the balloon race. Our stay was so peaceful in the woods at the Hayloft. Close to town and easy to access from highway. Very comfortable and quiet. Loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the property. There is a climb with the stairs that can be a little difficult for some. Bring own amenities like bath soap and shampoo, everything else is there. ”

“This is a jewel of a place to relax and enjoy the country life. We knew we were going to love it from the minute we pulled in the long driveway. Each morning we had breakfast on the side patio and watched the ducks on the pond. The facilities provide everything you could need for your stay. The master bedroom is comfortable, cool, and best of all dark. It was so nice to just sit back and listen to birds while reading and sitting under the pergola. Plenty of places to walk. “This was a wonderful family stay! The location is perfect right next to the river for fishing and canoeing and a quick drive or walk into town to explore. So many fun things to do and see that are super close by. The house was so comfortable and perfect for our family of 4. It was great to drink coffee and enjoy breakfast on the porch. We can’t wait to come back! ”

“This place was awesome. Very provate hidden gem. Caught loys of bass and rode alot of hidden trails that seem to go on forever. The pavilion is amazing. The master bedroom and bathroom woth the jacuzzi tub is so relaxing after a day of play. Janey is awesome, very polite and friendly. Woll definitely be back. Thank you Janey”

“The cabin was so clean and inviting! We chose this cabin because it had two bedrooms with King size beds. The mattresses were very comfortable. The room my husband and I stayed in had a wonderful storage piece so we could hang our clothes and unpack our suitcase and place all our items so we didn’t have to keep getting into our suitcase. We also wanted a kitchen where we could have a refrigerator to store beverages to keep cool and for various snack. The cabin has a nice balcony that looks on...
