Harvard Glacier Tours

Due to the tornados that came through Chicago, our flight was delayed by a day. Our reservation was for 3 days. I called the hotel when I realized our trip to Alaska was being delayed and asked to modify the reservation from 3 days to 2 days. I was told no problem and that it would be taken care of. Imagine my surprise when I was charged for 3 days instead of the 2 days we stayed there. I feel that since I called 3 days before the day we were supposed to arrive that I should have only been charged for the 2 days we stayed. It was hard to find this place because you check in at one place, under a different name and then you go to another place under a even different name to stay. Building was run down the elevator didn't work so we had to drag our suitcases up two flights of stairs, after we finally found which side of the building we were to go. There wasn't any type of numbers outside of building to let you know where to go. Grass and flower beds were overgrown. Our room was hot without air conditioning as we only had a very small window in the door going out to a small balcony. Our stay here was disappointing. Just beware!

Nice stay. Really enjoyed the coffee shop and our meals at the restaurants. We enjoyed walking the property and nearby trails. Alpine tram seemed expensive for a quick ride, so we passed on that option. Spa was wonderful.

Beautiful hotel. Cute bar. Very comfortable bed. Just right for one nights stay.
