“We had stayed here last November also and you can tell the difference with the new owners. Everything is shaping up nicely. New carpet and everything was spotless. They have a nice breakfast available also. Plan on staying here often as we have a new grandson in the area.”

“I found this Cozy hidden hotel in Staples. Stayed 1 night. The reception was amazing and provided a lot of detail information about the area. My room was clean and equipped with towels & bodywash. The bed slept so good. If you are looking for a room in the area, I recommend EconoLux you want be disappointed. I plan to return in the fall.

“The bed had blood on it and the walls had yellow stuff like stained on it like cigarette smoke. I told them about this and they didn’t even bother to take care of it. They just said it wasn’t a big deal. The room I was not impressed with at all. The guy working at the front desk was confrontational about the price of the room per night.”

“This place goes downhill every single year. We stay with a group for Christmas for the last 15 years. Wallpaper is peeling, you are charged for a “resort fee” but the pools aren’t even always working. Dining is subpar. Rooms are very dated and getting worse every year. I think it’s time for our family to move on from thumper pond. ”
