“Very cozy log cabin in a beautiful area of NY. We had a great time relaxing and visiting The Baseball Hall of fame in Cooperstown. Peter was great at communicating with us. My only suggestion would be to grocery shop before you get there. There are some well equipped gas stations that carry food about 10 minutes away but the closest grocery store is 25-30 minutes. If we are ever in the area, we would love to stay here again! ”

“The cabin was secluded and quiet, lovely location, and a beautiful sunroom. We were two adults and a baby, and a cat. It was clean and well stocked with linens and utensils. Our baby did well as it was kid friendly. Small but compact and everything was in good working order. WiFi was good. It was close to Mine Kill State Park. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only thing we would suggest is removing the trophy animals (three deer heads and a turkey). Not everyone is comfortable with such...

“Extremely clean, host was very quick to reply to my questions and even started a campfire for us. My husband fished while I enjoyed the wine we were left by the host. The “outdoor shower was amazing and the restroom was very clean. They thought of so many little things to help make our overnight comfortable …and the Golf course restaurant was outstanding- laid back atmosphere and you can wear shirts and t shirt. On our list of favorites now. ”

“Our whole family stayed at this property while in town for a family reunion. We had a toddler and an infant with us and it worked great- the host provided two high chairs and the main living area was super kid friendly. Lots of little details (e.g., plenty of surge protectors/outlets for charging, cruelty-free soaps and shampoos) made this an easy and comfortable stay.And the views!! Just stunning. It was very hot (the house was cool) so we didn’t spend as much time outside as we would have...

“First, “ host” never sent any messsges; never responded to any of my emails. The place was already occupied, despite my having a confirmation! The property outside was overgrown, empty bottles/trash spread everywhere. Outdoor cats roaming on property. Current occupants allowed me to come in. The inside was very dirty, mess all over floor. “Very unique experience in a wonderful locations but a few asterisks.There is no plumbing en suite, which we were aware of, but the bathhouse (clean) is a good 100 yards away. Not ideal for middle-of-the-night wakeups or if your ability to get around is compromised. It got very cold overnight and unfortunately the fireplace would not switch on. The batteries in the remote were probably the culprit, but this didn't help make us any warmer. The staff was very nice and helpful. ”

“Spend a few nights without any issues. Very cozy and fun. Easy check in/out very friendly and responsive host. The place is very beautiful with comfortable bedding and fun entertainment. Highly recommend, this cabin has everything you need!”
