"I had high hopes for El Conquistador, but that was not to be. Overpriced! Everything was overpriced. Long lines to get a warm cup of coffee or ice cream. Waitstaff needs training in customer service. Food was subpar. While Palomino Island is beautiful, the line for the ferry was long both ways. Wasted lots of time. There’s no beach to walk on and unless you rent a car, you’re pretty much stuck there. Puerto Rico is great, but I’ll stay in Isla Verde next time. Much better options and close proximity to everything. "

"This was a great little hotel. It served our needs for the night. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We didn’t use many of the amenities because we checked in very late and left very early. The pool did look nice though."

"A gorgeous property 30-40 mins from the airport / San Juan - but with everything on site including multiple restaurants, pools, bikes, tennis, water sports, kids club and a lovely beach. The staff are what make this property so good - the kindness, care, and attention from all staff was excellent. We had some sunny days and some rain, but the resort was always in excellent condition, even after severe rainfall. 12/10, would stay here again. "
