Harris Teeter and Circle K were both just around the corner and the county park was about 1.2 miles away (easy walk). There was also a public beach access point directly next door so I was able to enjoy the picnic area there as well. It was only about a 15-20 minute drive to Mt Pleasant and Charleston. “We loved our stay at Wild Dunes. The house was cozy and clean and the view was great. We could walk right out to the beach and watch the sunrise, or relax on the deck with a cocktail while the girls (9 and 11) played on the sand. I wish the fireplace was a working fireplace and the space could benefit from some beach items (towels, chairs, boogie board, buckets) as we did not think to cart all those things with us from Chicago, but we ended up buying a few items for our stay.
