“Rustic ALL the way...beautiful JUNGLE atmosphere surrounded by abundant fruit trees of every possible description. Lovely outside shower with abundant HOT water...Two very comfortable & spacious king beds. A real plus was "Sofie" the guard-dog & "October" kitty. “Beautiful setting, very clean, a few uninvited guests but no worries, all good. Small refrigerator holds a few days worth of poke, side dishes and drinks. Late last night, wild pigs were at the front doorway and got into the trashcan. Nothing to be alarmed about as long as your mindful of their damagous behavior. Mahalo Jessica!”

“This place is very rural. Katherine is a very nice host.The unit itself is about 10 ft by 20ft. The inside table for dining is in the photo with a glass top. There are two stools, a coffee maker, a small fridge, and a Queen-sized bed on a platform. The mattress was very comfortable. It might be a bit challenging for older guests to get on the bed. “This was a great Hawaiian home! It was cute & unique. My kids loved it. We ate meals and lounged on the porch daily. Everyone loved the outdoor showers. Highly recommend for those looking to immerse themselves in the Hawaiian vibe!”

“This secluded hideaway in the lush Puna District was everything we hoped for and more. The attention to detail throughout the home and surrounding grounds was absolutely impeccable. We especially loved the screened windows that let the fresh tropical trade winds flow through, creating a peaceful and airy atmosphere. “The bungalow was quaint and lovely. Loved hearing the doves, frogs, roosters. There were bugs but that’s expected in this area. No A/C but with the fans and closing the curtains while we were gone during the day it kept the place cooler. They also provide extra fans if needed. The tap water tastes good. The lanai is very nice, the table inside is great too. For a couple or small family who intends to explore…this is a great place.”

“It’s in an unpaved road it looks really runs down like they made huts/rooms on a piece of land the pools looks unsanitary when I first looked at the picture for an entire unit it looked like I was getting everything in one house all connected but it’s not this place is like a community use and very private at all”
