Lava Tree State Monument Tours

We stayed in the Garden room and found it to be a little peace of paradise all on its own. The host was absolutely fabulous, he would come over in the morning and get the coffee going, gave us an itinerary of events going on for each day of the week. On Monday he hosted a bonfire bbq, with drinks, food, and entertainment. We felt very welcome here. One of the highlights beyond the awesome hot tub in the jungle was the outdoor shower, now I want one at my house. This will definitely be our Hawaii home for every trip to the big island. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay or a better time staying there. Absolutely the best resort I’ve been to.

Property is on a beautiful location, very quiet and well maintained. We really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the really delicious complementary 7 course dinner. Highly recommend the property if you are looking for peace and quiet accommodations away from the busy resort locations.

Kelly is an excellent host, always making herself available to her guests. Her breakfasts are delicious. The area is quiet and the property is close to Hilo
