"This is a beautiful home sitting on a beautiful property. Very spacious, with plenty of room to spread out and relax. Wonderful porches and patio's to sit out and enjoy the day.With no AC, the house can get a little warm but cools off later in the evening.The house was nearly perfectly clean and the floors are beautiful; however, the floors need a thorough moping which I would image is due to the windows being open for airflow.We would certainly recommend this property for future stays and would stay here again ourselves."

"This was an amazing space to stay in for our visit to the big island! The home was immaculately clean, had everything we needed to be comfortable (including a washer & dryer), and afforded incredible views of the ocean (just steps away). The location is convenient for those based around Hilo and the neighbohood is quiet & walkable. We appreciated Liz's responsive communication prior to arriving and the ease checking in & out. We would definitely see if this home is available for a return trip! Rich & Traci"

"I enjoyed my stay here. The place is one of a kind and each room is unique. I was reluctant at first because of the shared bathroom, but I never had issues when I needed to use it. There is also an additional bathroom outside that I didn’t read about or see until my last night. The outdoor hot tub and shower were all placed uniquely in the back of the property amongst nature. The location is super remote and takes some patience trying to find, but you stay here for that reason — off the beaten path. The grounds indoors and out were well maintained. The artwork at the entrance and books inside are provocative and edgy which matches the vibe of the place. The kitchen, dining area, living room and patio were spacious enough for those who want to be alone. Locks are provided on every room door for security. There is a house cat that lurked around. Not a fan, an allergic, but that was minor compared to the beauty of the place. Complimentary snacks are provided in the room, however some water in the kitchen for guests would have been good. Highly recommend "

"This little place was perfect! We had a wonderful stay with everything we needed. The geckos were a lot of fun. The outdoor shower was so nice. We had an issue with the door lock at check in and the owner responded immediately and fixed it, it worked great the rest of the stay. 5 stars for the house and host. Only giving 4 stars for the "neighborhood" only because there were lots of barking dogs. It really wasn't an issue for us, just letting folks know in case that's an issue for anyone else. "
