"Room was very clean and staff were helpful (we had some items missing from our room but this was quickly rectified). WiFi was a bit unstable. Breakfast was a help-yourself selection of cereals, toast and yogurt which was fine. Location is lovely, and the rooms and beds were comfortable. A nice place to stay."

Cosy seculded rural retreat for the whole family

10/10 Excellent
"We had the most amazing birthday weekend here with a group of friends! The location was perfect and the house was comfortable with fully equipped kitchen which made cooking together so easy.We especially loved the beautiful bush walk and the giant swing - they were such fun highlights of our stay! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well thought out. It was the perfect place to celebrate, and we made some wonderful memories. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with family or friends."

"On a cold winter evening having the fire was so cosy. Quiet, apart from the birds. For a weekend to recharge the batteries it is a beautiful spot"

Waitomo Village Chalets Home of Kiwipaka

Waitomo Village Chalets Home of Kiwipaka

8/10 Good
"This was a cheap room, very bare bones and basic but exactly what we needed for one night close to all the cool attractions in the area. It was just my 13-year-old son and I. The receptionist was extremely nice and explained everything really well. She even turned the heat on for us and explain the space heater which we definitely needed as it was pretty chilly that night.I was a little bummed out that the beds were slightly squeaky, the doors to the rooms were really loud, and the walls seem to be very thin. But even with all that I still slept well. Overall happy about it, but perhaps I would try the more chalet style rooms next time and find an even better experience."
