“Absolutely amazing! We had a hot tub suite with an amazing sea view. The suite is really spacious, with a separate bedroom and living area. The terrace is spacious too with a table, hot tub and loungers. The whole resort is well maintained, and the cleaners are extremely hardworking. Everything is clean and new. The breakfast has lots of choice, although the hot food could be a little hotter. Koutouloufari is an amazing village too and I would absolutely return. Highly recommend.”

“Lovely villa and pool, super clean, great location and good instructions for check in. Only slight thing is would prefer a gate from the parking spot to the villa entrance as pool exposed so would have preferred more privacy. Also, needed to be 2 bowls, side plates as only had 1 of each and no wine glasses. A tea towel to dry dishes would be helpful as small sink area and didnt want to use bath towel. Doesnt need much to make absolutely perfect. Would stay again.”

“Recently renovated rooms, pool and bar areas, all done to a high standard. The staff really make this place somewhere you want to come back. Such a friendly place with a relaxed vibe during the day and sociable bar at night. Loads of bars and restaurants on the doorstep, although the food and drinks served in the bar are lovely and great value for money. Like everywhere in Koutouloufari there are a lot of stairs so maybe no good if you have a pushchair or limited mobility. Can't wait to go……

“What a gorgeous, hidden gem in the village of koutouloufari. We have been visiting the villages for many years and this has been our favourite place to stay. Sandika is the closest you will get to a villa in or even near to koutouloufari without paying villa prices. We stayed in apartment 8 which was spacious and beautifully clean. There was wine, cake, honey, coffee in the apartment on arrival and all free to use. We have stayed in some expensive accommodation in Crete and never had a welcome……

“We chose this hotel based on good reviews, room with private Jacuzzi and heated pools. Although the place is clean and staff is very nice, we had a number of problems during our stay. Pools were not heated, Jacuzzi constantly had to be serviced. no hot water to take a shower one morning, smoke-detector waking us up one night and had to call the front desk twice the next day to have it fixed. Parking is not free like the website indicates, I assume they may be referring to street parking outside……

“My stay in AneSea was amazing! The rooms were spotless, spacious, had all amenities you need and were very comfortable, with a nice balcony. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. It was truly Cretan hospitality The location was convenient, always parking available, and the amenities exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was great. With plenty of options. I especially appreciated the cleanliness, the atmosphere and the attention to detail……

“Zimmer war sauber und okay. Die Toilette stinkt leider nach Abfluss. Es ist leider einfach zu laut durch die Flugzeuge. Davon ist die ganze Umgebung betroffen. Das wissen die natürlich auch, aber tun nichts dagegen. Keine dichten Fenster, keine gedämmten Wände. Der Lärm geht komplett durch und man wird hier ständig durch den Lärm der fliegenden Flugzeuge gestört. Ich würde nächstes Mal lieber in irgendeiner Vorstadt von Heraklion bleiben.”

“I stayed only one day in the hotel because I had to take a flight very early. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked well. The bathroom was small, but that is ok for a short stay. There are many supermarkets, restaurants, and shops in the neighborhood. It is possible to reach the airport by walking nearly 20min (I did it with luggage). I think this hotel was a good choice for the price. Other guests should only be aware of the noise of the flights arriving and leaving at late and……

“Das Personal war wirklich super nett und bei jeder Fragestellung sofort hilfsbereit. Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind in einem top Zustand und wir haben es wirklich da genossen. Einziges Manko. In der Nähe liegt eine Bar, die man abends/nachts auch mit geschlossen Fenstern hören kann. Daher immer Ohropax einpacken.”

“Tolle Anlage, besonders der Poolbereich ist unglaublich. Die Lage ist wunderschön und auch fußläufig zum Ort. Die Zimmer wunderschön. Das Einzige was nicht passt ist das Essen. Buffet zwar sehr schön angerichtet aber geschmacklich sehr langweilig und keine große Auswahl. Entspricht nicht einmal annähernd dem Standard welches es haben sollte. Personal teilweise sehr nett und zuvorkommend aber gerade im Rezeptionsbereich kein 5 Sterne Niveau.”
