"We came for my son’s 17th birthday week and it was perfect!!!! A few friends and some family so we needed plenty of room which it had. I cooked a lot and the kitchen was adequately stocked with kitchen ware for every big meal. The view was breathtaking and amazing. The property was quiet and relaxing with fun wildlife wandering around. I give this property a 5 star for sure. However to be 100% honest the driveway was not great for our boat. We have a nearly 26’ Centurion with a triple axle trailer. We made the situation work but I would not recommend a triple axle in the driveway, just stay out in front of the driveway. The property owner was top notch with communication in every manner with clear check in and out instructions. He also provided area information on boat launch and things to do. I cannot wait to come back to this property again!!!!! (I will just take the boat straight to the harbor ;)"

"Home was very clean and much nicer than the pictures show. Exceeded our expectations! The kitchen was amazingly stocked. We cook a lot and had everything we needed. Plenty of room for our party of 9 with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and great room with queen bunks for the kids. Home well maintained with amazing views from the decks. Lots of outdoor seating and tables. Large fenced yard in quiet neighborhood. Could hear the train but didn’t bother us. August so lake was down but the guys able to hike down the steep incline and fish. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as the pool table and darts. Owner was very communicative. Highly recommend and we’ll be back. "

"Our second year enjoying this great property! The new tub in the master bathroom is the bomb! We brought two boats, a mule and three trucks. All was able to neatly fit around this property. Easy access to Sugarloaf Marina. House amenities work for our family. The deck is perfect for stargazing and satellite watching! Will be back next year! Thanks Adam for sharing your place at the lake with us! Great family memories created with our grandchildren! "

"Very nice and well appointed house on the north end of Lake Shasta. This house was perfect for two families with teenagers. Antlers Marina is a 5 min drive making getting to and from your boat a breeze. We would recommend this house if Lake Shasta is in your plans "

"We were so pleased to stay here for a night breaking up a long road trip. The kitchen was fully stocked with supplies, so we could grocery shop and cook. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms had extra amenities for us to relax. My sons loved the rooms with toys and an Xbox (they’re not little anymore, but those pack n plays would be so useful for babies/toddlers). The owners also made a nice accommodation for us to keep luggage in the garage during the day so we didn’t have to keep it in our pickup bed while we explored Redding before heading on the road again. Please stay here whether it’s for a pit stop or a full exploration of the Shasta area! "

"The Peaceful Cottage was very comfortable, extremely clean, and well appointed. After driving on the I-5 all day, it was a cool respite in the heat on my journey. I really liked the little yard for my dog. I only stayed one night but it is close to Redding and Shasta lake dam which was pretty to see in the evening. There are a few restaurants in Shasta Lake town but many more options in nearby Redding. Overall, it was a very nice night's stay."

"This was just a one-night stopover on our way to a family reunion in Oregon, but it was really pleasant. Google maps took us to a neighboring apartment complex (across the backyard fence from the home) but once we found our way, everything was really nice. Also appreciate the property's dog-friendly policy! We used the BBQ, had a nice dinner, slept well (thanks to the AC, which worked well and quickly), and were on our way. Thanks again!"

"Location was convenient to the freeway but not really near any amenities in tens of walking. Would need to drive. Bed was super comfortable. I was worried at first as we were across from the ice machine and Windows faced I5 but it was quiet in the room. Breakfast was decent... scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit, oatmeal, juice. Premade breakfast sandwiches, toast with different breads. We traveled with a 75 lb lab and it had a relieving area and some grass. Staff was friendly and nice. "
