“We were stopping for a night on the way home from the East coast and chose this hotel. The surrounding neighborhood is a little sketchy but the hotel itself is amazing. It’s VERY clean and well appointed as well as comfortable. The service was excellent and so was the food in the restaurant. The grounds are immaculate. The view of the lake was beautiful. It was a really pleasant surprise. We enjoyed our stay!”

“The staff were very friendly and treated you like family more than just guests. For a hotel near the lake, it wasn't a bad stay. Our room was clean enough where we felt comfortable staying. It was damp feeling when we first arrived but again, we were staying by the lake. We stayed for two nights and they offered a "grab and go" breakfast which was simple things like coffee, cereal, toast and pre packaged breakfast pastries. ““Good” rating on Expedia does not match the experience, so beware. Exteriors doors - they don’t even latch and can be found flapping in the wind, granting easy access to the building for anyone who wants to wander the halls. Interior hotel room doors - some just don’t work, as in the first one I was Assigned, then my door key randomly stopped working and had to be reprogrammed. Bathroom was an adventure. Shared with several spiders, no plug for the sink. Toilet handle was upside down and……
