“My partner & I thoroughly enjoyed our break here. The setting is very quiet and peaceful, right on the edge of a country park. The deer showing up daily in the vast garden were a joy to watch. The swimming pool was our main focus and absolutely lovely to spend time in, as was the sauna afterwards, all very relaxing. Kitchen very well equipped, and a barbecue area, and comfy sitting room and beds.Our hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. I have a sensitivity to fragrance & other chemicals,……

“Ideal for our family get together and was helped by great weather. We were all sorry when we had to leave. The kids loved and made full use of the pool and everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The pub and games room were great features and were well used. Only one small point was that there were some dirty trays left in the oven. Would highly recommend for a similar group.”

“The outside of the lodge does not bode well as it needs a really good clean and looks a bit neglected but once inside everything changes. It is clean and spacious, very attractive and well equipped. Would stay again and can recommend.”
