Holiday Inn Express Aberdeen City Centre by IHG

Holiday Inn Express Aberdeen City Centre by IHG

8/10 Good
"This hotel is in a great location in the city centre, and is very affordable. Staff were very helpful, and no real complaints. However, the rooms are really tired and need updating. Room could have been cleaner, but not terrible. We found an empty beer can under the desk! Overall, if budget is your main driver for a hotel, this works fine for a night or two."

"Centrally positioned for train/bus stations and eateries. Was a nice, obviously recently refurbished room. The bathroom had a good shower and tub. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. Only fault. No light switches or lamps by beds so had to switch off at wall by the door. A minor issue but thought it a little strange. Would definitely stay there again. Definitely value for money."

"Beautiful hotel in a lovely area of town, excellent choice of foods at breakfast, and despite being a large buffet this was clean and well stocked for the most part. The rate I paid was good value for the level of service, but I notice the price seems to fluctaute hugely from week to week."

Residence Inn by Marriott Aberdeen

10/10 Excellent
"What a lovely hotel! We went to Aberdeen for two nights to take a tour of the Scottish countryside filled with tidbits of history and chose the Residence Inn since in the USA Marriott’s are usually very nice. This hotel didn’t disappoint! The staff were very helpful, the room spacious and clean, breakfast was good(although I was hoping being in Scotland they’d have oatmeal as a breakfast choice)., and the washer and dryer were a bonus when traveling! Aberdeen isn’t a hot tourist spot, but it’s a lovely city with lovely and friendly people who made our stay very enjoyable!"
