"The cabin was amazing and the surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. It was a very relaxing weekend for our get away trip for our anniversary. We will definitely be back! Only recommendation I have is maybe having the hot tube under the porch or having some sort of cover over it. It rained a lot this weekend (not that anyone could predict the hurricane) but we didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked."

"Communication & check-in info was excellent!! Property was super clean. All of the vintage appliances were super cute. Very peaceful, relaxing property if you’re looking to get away. We couldn’t get the hot tub temp to raise above 99, and they sent someone out right away to fix it right away. The only thing I would advise is the little loft area is ideal for kids, but not really for grown adults. The stairs to get up to it are a bit strenuous & you can’t even stand up straight up there. It’s also just a bit of a drive to get to everything. Other than that everything was great!! We were hoping to see the bear that was reportedly hanging around but no luck!!"

"Not a bad place overall, it did feel a bit small inside. Besides the large living area, the bedrooms and kitchen felt kind of small. Because the rooms are small, there’s no dressers to unpack clothes. We loved the hot tub on the covered deck area and the fire pit. You do have to provide your own fire wood or buy some there down the street. Luckily we took our own because there was none available for purchase when we got there. It would be nice if the host would supply some things like laundry detergent, dish washer detergent, firewood, shampoo/body wash, spices, kcups, etc. some of this stuff was there but I think it’s just from prior guests buying and leaving it for the next guest. For people with a longer stay like us, it would be nice for those things to be available. Save a lot store is about 10 minutes which was nice and convenient when we needed to get something. The place was pretty clean. You definitely need a reliable vehicle to get you to the property because the hill and gravel can be rough."

"We loved our relaxing weekend at this very peaceful cabin! It was everything we wanted - secluded, cozy, close to great hiking. We brought food to cook, but ended up at Red Point BBQ and Miguel’s for our dinners … and we were not mad! Both were delicious!My favorite part of the cabin was the screened in back porch. Perfect for drinking coffee, reading, bird watching or all the above!"
