4/5 - Good
Spruce Pine is a GREAT small town.....very quiet and quant but nothing here in town to really see but LOTS to do within 30/60 minutes drive. BEAUTIFUL NC MOUNTAIN TOWN!!!

Though Springmaid Mountain might not have many top sights, you can venture to the surrounding area to see attractions like Linville Caverns and The Orchard at Altapass.

The staff is super helpful. The cabin is super clean and wonderful

Check in was very easy and fast, room was very clean but in the upstairs room it had what appeared to be a pretty big blood stain in the carpet but we paid it no mind. Overall very happy with our stay.

Really great stay. Spacious apartment, clean and well-maintained. All the cooking tools and pots/pans we needed (but bring your own ingredients/condiments, like salt/pepper). Hot tub and pool were well heated and not crowded even over the holidays. Easy access to the mountains. Only note is that ...

The mcdonalds was nice.
Spruce Pine is my hometown and it is a quaint place to visit, but has very limited lodging options during certain times of the year. Take my advice and book early so you can get a decent room and stay away from the motels in town,
There is a very nice, clean, motel that doesn’t advertise on the internet named Pine Valley Inn. Very clean place and accommodating staff.
This facility detracts from the pristine beauty of spruce pine and the area. Disgusting facility
The place was just creepy..
