“The location was rural and quiet and we had a generous sized room. The host was welcoming and very helpful, offering an excellent breakfast. We would certainly recommend it. The only downside for us was that the bed was very firm and we did not sleep well, but that may not be a problem for others.”

“At first, we felt a bit hesitant since it was someone’s house and there weren’t any clear signs—we just walked onto the property. When we got to our room, it was lovely, though I was still slightly unsure because you could hear people in the main house, and I wasn’t certain about privacy or whether anyone could enter our room. However, no one did, and our concerns quickly faded. The room itself was beautiful—bright, airy, and very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the views were absolutely……

“The room appeared quite freshly refurbished. The bathroom had quite a lot of mould in and around shower. It needed a good scrub and it would have been fine. Staff were friendly and courteous. Bar staff worked hard at a very busy party.”

“The room was clean & we had a nice meal, however we asked for breakfast at 8am due to a ride event we were attending. However, the following day no breakfast was available & the chef was unaware of our request, which was a shame & left with no food. Also, on the Expedia site the room I booked was £52 each, but I was charged £112, & not sure where the fault lies though suspect it is Expedia”
