We loved our stay at this place. The steps to get up to the hotel is intimidating but there is a secret elevator that can take you up most of the way through Gringo Bill hotel (learn to use this, very important). The hotel is situated on the hills right above the main square so very convenient once you get down. The room was very nice with good hot shower and water pressure. I would definitely consider staying here again on future trip. We did not have the breakfast but it look very basic.

We had an awesome time at this hotel! The stairs are not so bad to climb if you are already climbing the ones in Machu Picchu! It’s good practice! Breakfast was awesome and views cannot compare! Overall I would recommend for anyone ok to climb up 110 steps to get to their room!

Super cool bed and breakfast! The staff was awesome and incredibly attentive to us. Be prepared to climb some serious flights of stairs but it is worth it for the views of the rooms buried in the jungle on the side of a mountain!

This property was located up the hillside and was quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view of the mountains. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The location is right off the main square and close to everything in Aquas Calientes. The staff were friendly and available within minutes of messaging. They met us at the train station late at night to ensure we found the place safely. The room included breakfast on the roof terrace which was an added bonus. Good coffee and local fruits to eat. As others mentioned .. the stairs are a bit challenging but well worth it. Don’t drag a heavy suitcase here … and you will be fine.

The hotel was kind enough to have someone meet us very late at the train station, help us on the very short walk to the hotel, and store our luggage the next day during our trip to the Machu Picchu settlement. Yes, there's a lot of stairs but it wasn't a problem for us. The hotel itself is really beautiful and the breakfast is quite reasonable. It's an excellent value.

For the cost it was okay. It just isn’t ideal for a place of rest. The neighbors and sound is really easy to hear if someone is passing by or making noise above you. It was hard to get rest we woke up everyday at 6 am being bothered because the noise. I would say breakfast was good for what it is as well. The service was really good! It does take the wind off of you walking up the stairs to get there but ideally it is cute. I would have preferred another hotel because bugs kept getting in our room but it was still a unique place with good views! More away from the busier parts as well.

Really wonderful stay. The beds were very comfortable. They even had down comforters, which was really nice considering that it gets cold, and they had extra space heaters. The only difficulty was climbing a little over a hundred stairs to get to the hotel, but the staff was kind and helpful in managing the luggage up and down. The staff was also very kind. I had an excursion very early in the morning and could not be there for their breakfast. They actually packed me a breakfast!
