“The property was one block down from downtown Manistee and we were right on the water. The room was fairly comfortable. It was rustic, but very clean. The host were extremely accommodating and understanding after my husband spilled coffee on their bed. I offered to pay for the sheets or the padding that may have been ruined and they said absolutely no, and actually laughed at me but told me how much they appreciated me telling them. I would definitely go there again.”

“Summer’s Inn is a small mid-century boutique motel for people 50 and over. The staff is friendly, helpful, and remembers you from year to year. The property is a monarch way station and the patio area has a sizable Koi pond for relaxation and contemplation. Breakfast is from local producers-quiche, fruit, cinnamon bread, and jelly with fresh coffee and juice. One of our annual favorites.”

“Great stay, checked us in early and had amenities that were fun and easy to use. Could see during the busy times where it may be hard to used the shared space but we had no problems. Would recommend for a trip or just a quick stay as well. Clean easy check in and out.”

“Kind of costly for the quality but it was clean and the staff were very nice. It is a great location to walk to area and go to the beach. Room had a funky smell but wasn't terrible for a one night stay.”
