A wonderful beach cottage

We loved staying here! So close to the beach and walking distance to main Street Manzanita, the perfect location! The place was clean, and exactly what we were looking for and hope to stay here again next time we're on the coast!

Family Trip

The house is in a great location with easy walk to the beach or to town. The beds were comfortable and the deck with ocean view was great to sit out on. The outdated furniture and kitchen were a little hard to navigate with a family. The kitchen table was lopsided and the kitchen chairs were starting to fall apart. Other than that we had a great time.

Unbeatable location. Sparse but comfortable home.

The important things (bathroom, sheets, kitchen) were clean. There were a few cobwebs in corners but nothing that gave me the ick. Even though it is pet friendly, there was not noticeable pet odor.

I love the little brown house

This is my second time at the house, I love the house. My only suggestion is house keeping checks the dryer lint catcher. It was stuffed with lint. I will definitely stay here again.

Loved this little beach house!

Our family of 5 and little dog loved being at the cute and cozy beach house right there by the ocean! The big outdoor balcony deck was great for expanded space and ocean viewing, eating with the fam and sunning. Nice to have two levels with the bedrooms and bathroom downstairs and the rest of the living space on upper level with an awesome lil wood stove and lots of windows. Not fancy and modern, but a lovely space that is functional and comfortable with everything one would need in a home-away-from-home vacay stay right close to the beach with the sound of the ocean and a breeze in the trees. The family would love to come back!

Little Brown House

This little place was comfortable, quiet and in a great location. It was well appointed. I had a huge problem working the door lock and Vacasa was very responsive. Also, the shower did not feel safe. The floor was slippery and there was nothing to hang onto. With the exception of the shower, the place was clean. Most of the furniture looked like it was picked up off the street, but comfortable.

Horrible Stay

I left before my first 24 hours was up and didn’t go back. I was supposed to stay almost a week. The air quality is a smokers dream and a non- smokers nightmare. The heater in the upstairs barely works and —snow and freezing temps were eminent. It’s grungy and grimy with a level of dirt from many years gone by.

Close to beach, but lacking in comfort

House was close to the beach and in a good location. The kitchen is extremely small, with almost no counter space. Combined with a lack of dishwasher, which means counter space must be used for drying dishes, and it was very difficult to cook. The grill was very dirty and gross. The lighting mechanism wasn't working and we called for assistance. They brought new propane - which wasn't the issue. The beds are comfortable but be aware only young children can sleep in the bunks, as there is a strict weight limit posted. The futon is the only really seating option in the living room and it is old, soiled, and very uncomfortable. New seating options are needed. Despite the great location and beautiful views, we are unlikely to stay here again.

perfect location!

This is a nice little beach house. It's a little worn, but still comfortable. The location couldn't be better; you walk out the door, cross the road, and you're in the dunes. Beds were changed, directions for managing dogs were clear, and just inside the door.

Manzanita Tiny Home

House is great for proximity to the beach and town. Can see the ocean from the deck and hear it with the windows open. House is tiny but it was fine for 2 adults and a medium size dog. Everything felt rather worn down. It could be very cute with some updates
