“The hotel is not only showing some obvious wear in both the rooms (furnishings) and public areas (corridors/lifts etc.) but particularly could have been improved by simply paying attention. Outside lawn bar areas/furniture are not even being wiped down and this is a highlight area for this hotel. Rooms are not made up in a timely manner 3:45 in the afternoon seems rather late for any room not to mention a suite you want to enjoy time in. Staff comments were less than helpful. "There were no outlets near any of the mirrors in the room for using a hairdryer, and the bathroom only had a socket for shavers. The only outlet closest to a mirror was at the very bottom of the full-length mirror by the entrance—almost at floor level. Since the hairdryer’s cord was too short, trying to use it in front of a mirror in the room was pure frustration. The drop-off zone in front of the hotel entrance costs £7.20 and only allows a 10‑minute stay? That's insane."
