“I booked a deluxe room but we stayed in a standard room. We were only there for one night so I couldn’t be bothered to kick up a fuss. There was a big stain on the carpet and the air con wasn’t great. Otherwise a comfortable stay. The staff were attentive and pleasant. The setting is magnificent but the hotel itself feels a little tired in places. Free parking was a great perk.”

“BEAUTIFUL grounds and main hotel areas, super helpful and welcoming staff. The room itself had basic amenities, and smelt like it was an ex- smokers room. May just be that the soft furnishings needed replacing. The room was dated and needed an upgrade. It would have been good to have a safe in the room too. Everything else about the hotel was wonderful and it was a shame it was only a fleeting visit. Slightly overpriced considering the room itself.”

“We had a brief overnight stay but it was all we needed it to be. There were some local options for eating as well as in the hotel and the breakfast was nice enough. The staff were friendly when we interacted with them. The room was standard for The Holiday Inn and comfortable enough.
