Good location near Matlock and Cromford Mill Centre. A warm welcome from the landlord and his team. Our compliments to the chef A small but balanced menu to suit all tastes/requirements. Portions generous - we particularly recommend the steak and potato pie! A good, freshly cooked breakfast too. Our rooms were comfortable although maybe a little tired. Check in was quick and straightforward. My room was comfortable. Matlock We found the Jug and Glass Inn to be amazing. The area was picturesque our first journey to Derby. We can’t wait to go back. The staff were fantastic all of them. Food was great with plenty of choices. Wine and beer prices were well priced and enjoyed by us Rooms were clean and tidy.
