“I’ve stayed at the Harkness hotel twice now and I can’t rave about it enough. It is so beautiful, clean, and the staff is so kind and helpful. I can’t wait for my next visit!”

“Hotel was wonderful. The rooms were clean and the pool area was nice and taken care of. The morning breakfast staff was amazing! They were very helpful and made sure that every guest had enough food and were extremely friendly.”

“Check-in lady was efficient and courteous. However, she left at 7 pm for the night. Call the office phone # if needs arise. No one in office at check out. Room was clean, coordinated decorations, quality linens, towels, comforter plus spare comforter. Room was small. Price okay. Breakfast minimal choices. Two issues, TV and satelite antenna required 2 in person visits from the off site owner/ manager to get the TV to work about 40 min. process Second issue,which not much can be done, 3 trains……

“Easy check in, spacious room. Clean and comfortable. We were upgraded to a jacuzzi room because the hot tub needed maintenance. I really appreciated that. ”

“Small rooms, but very clean and cozy. There is a large common area so you don't feel cramped.”

“We stayed for the weekend to play bingo at the casino in the town over. I loved the stay. It was in a good location and auper clean. Thw staff was cery helpful as well. Thank you”

“Check in was smooth and we were greeted with homemade cookies just out of the oven. Suite was good sized and included a large closet, full size refrigerator, range top, microwave, and dishwasher. Breakfast was decent with enough variety for most anyone. Some road traffic noise from the street behind the hotel but eventually died down. Did not try the pool or hot tub. Would stay here again.”

“Riverside is our favorite go to for a quiet getaway (especially in the winter months). Nice, friendly staff, private spas.”

“The room was more magical than I imagined! The double shower, waterfall, treehouse bathtub! The ambiance was complete. It was clean - even the ferns way up high were dust free. There were lots of thoughtful touches. ”

“Heater was great, tub drained slowly, but reported to property who were eager to repair. Wifi was far away and low signal and not effective for my switch console or phone. Staff was very friendly and the proximity to the hotsprings was unbeatable. Overall great stay for a quick one-night trip! ”

“Room was clean and staff was exceptional. Warm chocolate chip cookies and good breakfast. The construction was not a problem, as every effort was taken to make sure guests were not impacted. Located in a very nice complex of hotels on the hill. Felt very safe.”
