"Overall, a POSITIVE experience. I only dropped the facility ratings because they are remodeling, so there was furniture outside many rooms. We did not have a dresser in our room. It had NO impact on our stay. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. I told the front desk clerk we WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR for the Dover NASCAR race. "Went with my significant other to Mardi Gras and it was a great price. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel so no need for a cab only when returning home at night. Even though it was about 15 mins away from New Orleans, it was worth the price and they are under going renovation. The 2 star rating is unfair cause we had an overall great experience. I was expecting an aweful room and terrible area but it was none of that. Ty you for making our trip memorable."

"Well they have you sign bunch of papers and you dont understand what he is saying to you since talks so fast and English not first language then take additional $100 from credit card that will be returned. They never returned mine for what reason I have none nor was I sent anything explaining why it wasn't returned. I did nothing but spend the night quietly by myself. "

"I like the facility location.i didn't like the fact i checked in and was charged for 2 nights that was already paid for thru expedia. Even though I prepaid I was still charged and now have to wait several days to get my refund. This is an inconvenience to me. This should not of happen if there was proper communication between expedia & riverview motel.. A phone call shouldve been made not an email to explain that my fees were already paid."

"Had an excellent time at this beautiful and secluded property on the Chester River. Although very private and a lot of outside space to roam, we were still very close to all that Chestertown has to offer. So, it was the best of both worlds. Plenty of amazing scenery and wildlife to enjoy around the property, and Beth is an excellent communicator. "Waterview cottage is comfortable and very clean. The accommodations look new and we had good sleep. The kitchen has most of the necessary equipment for meal preparation.
