“Room and bathroom were clean. The first day there was zero hot water so I took a very cold shower. And they really need to designate a smoking section that is not the front door! There were absolutely 20 employees and guests out there smoking when I arrived and it smelled awful walking through that. The breakfast was actually fantastic. Plenty of variety and pretty tasty. “We attended a wedding reception in this building in 1972 when it was a rather new Holiday Inn. Its age shows but the current owners are working to update it. Our room was newly remodeled and clean. Advice to owners: don’t shortchange a nice remodel by not replacing the 50+year old plumbing fixtures.”
