Petit déjeuner simple ( ça manque du pain frais) biscottes beurre confiture gâteau au coco petit croissants aux abricots .... “Everything was great. The only minor issue was getting up late and not having a lot of options for breakfast the first morning. I would’ve also loved a toaster but not a deal breaker. The in is charming and historical and the town is quaint. ”

“Our fist time experience with a castle hotel is pleasant. We arrived at a rainy day and thus a bit of difficulties in lifting our heavy luggage to the reception - you have to walk a few wet and muddy stone steps from the parking place. Despite that, everything else of our accommodation is nice. The heating is also well functioned considering most other hotels or agriturismo do not offer heating in late April. It is worth mentioning that the breakfast offers a lot of choices. Besides we found……

“The room was very cold, and despite raising this with staff, I was initially told that the heating was functioning correctly. After complaining again, the heating was eventually turned on, which was appreciated; however, the unit was extremely loud and could not be used throughout the evening. The walls are also very thin, and noise from neighbouring rooms is easily heard. The room did not include any tea or coffee facilities, which I would consider a basic expectation for a four-star hotel. I……

“The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly! The hotel had great parking. Easy access to all sides of town. The restaurant was excellent also. Our only complaint was the beds. They were very uncomfortable. ”

“We were looking for a quiet and tranquil location and this is it. Wonderful views from the magnificant gardens which surround the tastefully restored monastery. The exterior and interior have been tastefully renovated to the highest standard and our room was perfect. Yet the main contribution to our stay was the warmth and oustanding service that we received from the whole service team. We loved this hotel; we have travelled all around Europe and feel this is the best we have stayed in.”
