We had an absolutely wonderful 5-star stay at the Scottish Fairway Inn in Monterey! We traveled as a family with our kid, and the hotel was incredibly accommodating and family-friendly. Our room was excellent—extremely clean, neat, well-maintained, and comfortable for all of us. It gave us total peace of mind knowing how hygienic and tidy everything was. While they didn't offer breakfast during our stay, if they ever do in the future, I have no doubt it would be super excellent based on how great everything else was! The location was perfect, the staff was friendly, and the entire experience was top-notch. We highly recommend this inn to any family visiting the area and will definitely be back!

I understand the condition of the property giving that it's under construction, but a warning would have been appreciate prior to booking. There was also no AC which lead to a miserable night. Price was decent and that I would say is the only added benefit. Would not stay unless I had to.

Location is convenient and close to attractions. Staff was helpful and resourceful. The hardwood floor vinyl in our room was sticking up in certain parts of the room making it difficult to walk around. Shower was hard to manage but luckily there were instructions included on the wall. TV had some color issues and we weren't able to access the settings. Beds were comfy and parking was accessible. Good stay.

This a great place for the money. It's fair value, the entire city of monterey is overpriced so this is expected. Good location, not far from the main areas by car. Staff is great

Rooms were clean and it was nice to have two proper bedrooms in the suite. It’s a little dated and views from room are junk/storage areas but we were just in a pitstop so didn’t care. Parking is pretty rough. Very narrow spots not many of them and lots of big cars. We arrived around 10pm and really had to squeeze into and out of the car. So good value but arrive early to have decent parking!
