“We stayed here two years previous. The location of the property and the hotel itself are excellent.
We also found the food excellent (better than last time). However, the service was poor - they felt understaffed and even non busy mealtimes seemed a strain on resources. Not very efficient…
The hotel could be excellent, but just felt lacking on this occasion.”
“I didn't like having a room which faced out onto the courtyard where pub guests were drinking and eating. It meant that to get privacy you had to draw the curtains which then covered not only the door but also the only windows and I like to have open windows, especially when there is no air conditioner. Having said that, the room itself was quite comfortable and the food was good.”
“Last weekend we stayed at the Wiveton Bell for two nights. I have to report that the pub has changed hands since we were last there.
The room we had was well appointed; a small snug with two easy chairs, coffee table and sideboard ......kettle, coffee machine, magazines etc.... and a separate roomy bedroom with a TV and plenty of wardrobe/cupboard space plus a modern ensuite.
We had several issues regarding the room. When we arrived at 4pm we had to wait for it to be serviced.
