"We made the reservation on Expedia. Got there 2 hours early. They do not have computers, so were confused on the reservation. Got it settled. I paid around 80 for the night, but the owner said 59 on the phone. They cleaned the room immediately since we were sleep deprived, and we slept. VERY comfortable bed. Very quiet and comfortable. "We stayed here while our teenage son attended a camp at Wingate University (30 minutes away). The house was just as described, VERY clean and the attention to detail was fantastic. Beverages/coffee provided, soaps/dishsoap/shampoo, etc. were plentiful. One review mentioned the dated kitchen and bathroom but the owners have done everything to make it work and they succeeded. Bright Converted Schoolhouse in Chesterfield!

"My husband, kids, and two dogs stayed here and it felt like home. I grew up living out in the woods so this was perfect for me! Our dogs and kids loved the property, we took time to walk around and enjoy the nature. The natural sunlight from the large windows was amazing as well! I loved waking up and looking out across the yard. The simplicity of the house layout was very relaxing and our kids enjoyed the open and colorful space as well, i think their favorite part was the huge chalkboard honestly! I'd absolutely love to stay here again!"

"The location was near our route and was convenient to access. A few dining options nearby. The room and inside of hotel was recently remodeled. The exterior has not been remodeled but obviously will be next. The bed was very comfortable. The desk clerk was very nice. "
