“The Room was very clean, Made us feel at home. Had just about everything we needed but anything we didn’t have we were able to get with a quick trip to Walmart. It is on an intersection so it can be a little noisy at nights or in the early morning with cars driving by but my fiance really enjoyed his birthday stay here!”

“We loved that the property had a balcony and that the parking was private. You do have to pay for the parking garage but it is not bad. The fact that there was a washing machine and a dryer was great as well especially since we stayed for 5 days total and had our children with us. The kitchen was easy to cook on even though the pots and pans were a little outdated or overused. The trash was easy. Overall, if we were to come back to Virginia to visit D.C we would definitely stay here again. I……

“We sent our parents to this property for part of their 50th anniversary present and my mom said "it was very nice, we enjoyed our stay. The only thing they should mention on the listing is there is a pretty steep hill (no steps) but steep to walk up to the property. I had to use my walking stick. But the host was very nice and greeted us and offered to help us." She was very pleased.”

“The host were very communicative, which was nice. The area the rental was located had a married college dorm vibe to it. Wasn't horrible, but the conditions of the apartments noticably deteriorated as you drove through the area. The upgrades made in the facility were nice. Not all of the flooring was complete, and the unit certainly wasn't overly clean as we found left over hair in the shower, the bath towels weren't folded nicely, and there were some big dust bunnies laying around. “Our family had the best time in Alexandria and DC proper with The George as our homebase. Beds were very comfortable, living space and linens were all fresh and clean. The property is very close to a Safeway grocery store and with all the amenities The George offered we could easily prepare meals.
