“The room was clean and quaint. I love the clean white look, very nice! I did have a problem finding the light switch, it was a hidden a little deep behind the head of the bed, I had to move the bed to get to the switch. Otherwise it was awesome!”

“Our family had the best time in Alexandria and DC proper with The George as our homebase. Beds were very comfortable, living space and linens were all fresh and clean. The property is very close to a Safeway grocery store and with all the amenities The George offered we could easily prepare meals. The creative decor in shades of blue and coral, and special attention to detail all around the home, namely the hand painted mural in the living room, treated us all to an exceptional patriotic, DC……

“Great location in the heart of Old town near King St and the river. Easy walks to restaurants, etc. Great property that was fully equipped. Everything you need was at the property. Can highly recommend this property.”

“My parents stayed here on vacation. We live in the neighborhood. We wanted to get something close to us. They had an excellent time. You can't beat the location in history of this building. My parents had everything they needed and the apartment was very clean and cute. Additionally, the owner was incredibly kind. He was around to make sure they had everything they need and told them a little bit about the history of the property as well. We will definitely be having family stay in this location……

“The location is very close to the downtown just around 10 minutes drive. The owner is nice to communicate and able to fix issues quickly. The only issue was much noise from upstairs guests at the first midnight and owner helped resolved the issue quickly.”

“The house was clean and so cute! The beds were clean. Everything you need was provided even shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The best part was the shower. The pressure of the water was like a massage!!”

“Overall, the location of this place and the apartment itself is wonderful. The check-in process is cumbersome, as well as the process to get/use the garage access. However, I would do it all over again, the price for parking here is much cheaper than anywhere else. There is quick and easy access to DC via the subway. Definitely recommend staying here with a family versus in DC for much more cost.”
