Munising Adventure

Vrbo we stayed at was clean and within walking distance to all the best stops in town! A little early for the season to be there but we had some great hiking opportunities! The weather cooperated too.

I did not realize that one of the beds was actually a pull out sofa. I also would not classify this as a 2 bedroom as it it is more like a studio since the one actual bedroom is a pass thruthru

EV Owners Beware

If you’re considering this listing in the hopes of charging your EV after your daily vacation adventures, you may want to look elsewhere. What isn’t mentioned in the description is that this is a paid public charger. That means you’ll have to compete with other Munising visitors. We were able to charge on night 1, but not night 2. It was a real bummer having to plan around this. Aside from that, the bed was squeaky and not at all comfortable. My wife and I both had restless nights. However, the property is very well kept and is in an excellent location for all sorts of fun activities. It’s just disappointing that it didn’t meet our expectations.

Adorable little place

First time I ever rented from vrbo. This little apartment was adorable, clean and in a great location! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who is planning to visit the area!

Great stay!

Great place to stay in Munising! Apartment was very clean and had a fully stocked kitchen. Was here in the Fall to see pictured rocks and it was only a 15-30 min drive to the holes we went on! Would highly recommend.

This cozy spot was so conveniently located to everything you would want for a pictured rocks/waterfall stay. It was so cute and clean, I’d definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Munising!

Great location

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for the 2 of us. The location is within walking distance to so many things. We really liked going on evening walks especially by Lake Superior. It’s so pretty at sunset. I would definitely stay there again.

Cool getaway

This cool unit had all we needed for a comfortable stay. Being located directly across from By George micro-brewery didn't hurt! A great base for UP explorations.

Fabulous

This cabin was absolutely fabulous!! It was cozy and loved the closeness of the river and nature. Loved the nightly campfires while staring out over the river and up into the moon lit sky!!! Not far from all the beauty waterfalls and pictured rock tours. Perfect location and cabin to stay in!!

Home away from home.

I was so satisfied with our stay at the Tree house. We were walking distance to many places we wanted to go, without having to worry about parking. The property managers were very punctual in replying to any questions we had. Another nice thing about our stay was the parking pass for the State Parks.

What an experience!

Nice place & location

This property was very nice and clean. It had ample towels and a supply of hand soap, paper towels, TP. Just big enough for my husband and myself. The location in downtown was great for walking to restaurants, gift shops and Lake Superior. The only negative - we were not able to control the cooling and it was very cold. It was controlled by a central system. But, overall WE WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN!

Paying customer shouldn't be asked to be janitor too.

Good location as far as walkable to dining & shops and liked access to laundry in building. Did not like that we were asked to do so much cleaning up when we were paying not only a pricey nightly rate but a cleaning fee as well. Would look elsewhere if visit area again.

Pretty good overall.

We had a good time overall at this property. The river view is really beautiful. The cabin itself is pretty basic but spacious enough for a large group. The outdoor space was nice for a fire at night. The pictures and description of the property do not really make it clear that there are neighbors very close on each side, so if you're looking for something secluded and private, this isn't it. Also the cleaning fee is too high considering the property management company insists that you do a variety of cleaning tasks before you check out of the property.

Nice space and great location

Enjoyed everything about our stay. The only frustrating part was trying to get a hold of any of the contacts provided. The welcome email indicated an app or attached info about accessing the property. When I called the numbers listed, it would go to a voicemail and direct me to call another number. Took several hours to make contact, but luckily, there is a delightful brewery right across the street. Everything in the property was clean, and many minor amenities were available for use.

Cute and Clean

My partner had never been to a lot of the iconic locations in Michigan. We planned a marathon road trip and stayed here one night while exploring Pictured Rocks on Labor Day. The property was very clean and well stocked with towels, dishware, shower products, and dish soap/sponges which I’m sure would be handy if we had stayed longer. I did need to clarify how much of the bedding we needed to strip down as part of the checkout notes, but it was very easy to get in contact with the property management. The only negatives, and I say these lightly, is that there was no curtain in the kitchen window (which overlooks parking), and the floor in the kitchen is sloped. If you’re traveling with someone who’s unsteady on their feet, just be advised. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would likely stay again if we ever visit Munising again for a longer stay.
