The split level layout made it easy for one of the older couples to only walk up a few steps to their bedroom after walking up the flight of stairs to get to the main floor. “The location is breathtaking. Such a beautiful setting and perfect distance to enjoy the Pacific Ocean. The home was perfect for our large group and the upstairs bedrooms has a fantastic view of the ocean as did the downstairs living area. Would definitely stay again.”

“We booked this home for a family reunion and it did not disappoint. The home had all the basics for big family get togethers and the views were spectacular. The beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of space for our kids, their cousin, aunts, and uncles and was accomodating for kids to be entertained and for the adults to relax.”

“The house was better than advertised.From well equipped kitchen, to the 3 suite bedrooms, was awesome. The owner actually texted me to let me know that we could check in 2 hours early. Apparently the new cleaners are very efficient. I would definitely recommend this rental , and would absolutely rent this property again. Dan B.”

“Property was perfect for my husband and I this weekend. It’s pretty small but perfect for 2! Quick walk to the beach or to some downtown shops. The hot tub and outdoor area was lovely too. Overall a cute spot :)”

“We had an absolutely perfect stay to celebrate our anniversary! The location right on the beach was stunning—waking up to the sound of the waves and being able to step out directly onto the sand was just incredible. The space itself was spacious, comfortable, and very clean, making it feel like a home away from home. Every detail was thought of, and it made our celebration even more special. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to mark this occasion. Highly recommend!”

“This was our second time and we plan to return as it checks all the boxes. Jeff is responsive and the house is always spotless and has everything you need for cooking and relaxing with ocean views. “This was a wonderful house! It has plenty of space, two bedrooms on the ground floor (which was important for us), and an incredible view out to the ocean.The hosts were amenable and very communicative. The check-in was easy and clear and the check out was simple.The neighborhood was great and quiet. The house is a couple hundred meters away from beach access in each direction. “We had a great time at the house, and we had enough space for all 5 adults and 3 kids. The cottage house was a little musty and we weren’t aware the room in there was up a steep flight of stairs but otherwise it was great. The beds are comfy and the fireplace kept the room warm in the cooler evening and morning hours. The walk to the beach is tough for little kids and older folks, and the beach access is very steep. Once on the beach though, it’s private and beautiful. ”

“We loved our stay at The Whale! Over 30 family members of all ages fit comfortably in this accommodation! The home is a bit older, and some things are worn out, but with close beach access sand can reek havoc! We were in close proximity to so many amenities such as waterfalls, lighthouses, deep sea fishing and whale watching not to mention the five minute walk to beach! Any issues we had with the house were quickly handled. As mentioned in other reviews, the electric outlets on the third floor...
