About this property
Updated 3BR Mid-City home with private pool. Steps to streetcar, near FQ & parade route.
Welcome to your Mid-City retreat, steps from the streetcar!
You’ll enjoy full privacy during your stay, but I’m always here if you need anything, restaurant tips, transportation advice, festival routes, or curated local recommendations. Happy to act as your personal NOLA concierge.
★ The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, amazing experience!
Steps to Endymion and Zulu Parades during Mardi Gras!
North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here. If you have any questions about the neighborhood, please send us a message!
You will have full access to: • Entire 3BR/2BA home • Living room + kitchen • Laundry room • Private fenced backyard + pool • Smart TV + fast Wi-Fi
★ Easy check-in and so much space, we felt right at home!
Trashcans located at the street in front of the property.
Natural light pours through this Mid-City home, and with the streetcar just steps from your door, the whole city feels within easy reach. This is the kind of place that settles you in fast - a comfortable base whether you're here for Mardi Gras, festival season, or simply a few days exploring New Orleans with people you like.
Sleeping arrangements Three bedrooms hold plush beds dressed in soft, luxe linens, and room-darkening shades paired with central air conditioning keep things cool and quiet for sleeping in. A walk-in closet and additional wardrobe give everyone room to unpack properly rather than live out of a suitcase. Two full bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and a hairdryer, so you can pack light.
Kitchen & dining Stainless appliances anchor the kitchen, including a Frigidaire refrigerator, GE electric stove and oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Cooking basics, crockery and cutlery, baking sheets, and a toaster are all on hand, and mornings start easy with a filter coffee maker ready to go. Gather around the dining table for meals in, or keep it simple - either way, the kitchen is set up for real cooking, not just reheating.
Outdoor living Step out to the balcony, or head into the fully fenced backyard where a private above-ground pool waits, open year-round and stocked with pool toys. It's a genuinely nice spot to decompress after a day of walking the city - whether that means a quiet soak or an afternoon of splashing around with the group. Free street parking means you're not hunting for a spot every time you come back.
Entertainment & amenities Fast wifi and a Smart TV with Netflix, Hulu, and Prime cover the downtime, and a dedicated workspace with a door gives you somewhere to actually get work done if you need to. The in-unit washer and dryer, iron, and cleaning products make this an easy place to settle into for longer stays. Traveling with a little one? A travel cot and high chair are available on request, and babysitter recommendations can be arranged too.
Location You're just steps from the Canal Streetcar line, putting the French Quarter, Bourbon Street, the Superdome, and City Park within easy striking distance. Trader Joe's is close by for groceries, local cafes and po'boy shops are an easy walk, and the Lafitte Greenway is right there for biking or an evening stroll. Come Mardi Gras, the Endymion parade route passes right outside.
Please note: No parties, no unregistered guests, and no smoking. Any attempt to host a party of any kind will result in immediate termination of the stay with no refund.

Myself and three others stayed and this property and it is exactly as the listing shows! Uber/Lyfts were at the property under 10 minutes, usually within 5 and it was a quick drive to the French Quarter. I highly recommend this location!
Overall we had a decent experience here. There were a couple of issues like the couch leg being broken and the pool being dirty but the host got this taken care of relatively quickly (within a day). I had some trouble getting ahold of someone to address these concerns. I wish we would have brought additional towels for the pool. The neighborhood was not the greatest but we didn’t have any issues.
Excellent communication! Home was a clean 3bd 2bth. However, it had the bare minimum. Bedrooms consisted of a bed and a "nightstand". No dresser or anywhere to put your suitcase/belongings...had to have everything on the floor. Living room had limited sitting. Our family of 5 could not relax together and watch tv. Kitchen supplies were very limited. No can opener, cutting knives, mixing bowls etc. What supplies they did have...most of them had seen better days (wobblily pans, chipped plates and bowls) Coffee maker did not work properly and dishwasher did not work at all. The neighborhood was not the best. There was a vacant lot/parking lot next to the home that had several broken down cars. One reason we chose this home was for the driveway. I did not want to be looking for parking. However, there was no driveway at the home as described on their listing.Overall, our experience was okay.
