"We were on our way to NE Arkansas for an Eclipse viewing. I had originally booked a chain hotel. And then I found this little slice of heaven. Who wants a chain hotel experience when this is the same price?? Everything was just perfect. All the details were appreciated! Highly recommend. Do need to be able to maneuver steps to the loft. I'm one week out from knee replacement and managed it."

"We stayed here for a race in downtown Springfield and it was super close. Also, this place was incredibly clean! I loved the old building vibes and the beds were very comfortable. It’s good to know that there isn’t any coffee or anything, so you’ll want to bring your own. Otherwise, perfect stay!"

Overall, it was clean enough except for the couch cover which may have been clean but had hair and lint embedded in it. "The Black Palace was just that! Decor was very enchanting and interesting. The room was extremely clean and fresh. The towels and sheets smelled amazing. The interaction with the host was informative and timely. Adam is a very conscientious host. The only downside of the stay was the noise level because of the bar next door and people on the street. We were aware of that because of other reviews and it did not dampen our enjoyment of our stay."

"We had an amazing weekend getaway. The treehouse was so cute and comfy. The pictures do it no justice. Everthing was clean and tidy, we never had a need to contact the property manager for anything. We did however have a chance to meet them. What an amazing hard working couple. They were very friendly and accommodating. This was an unforgettable trip and we both highly recommend a stay here.... very romantic"

"Nicholas was an excellent host. Very responsive and even bought a new Kurig when the original stopped working! The King bed was so comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for all the cooking needed for our college graduation luncheon. Loved sitting on the back porch watching the cattle and listening to the birds. I would recommend investing in new mattresses for the suite room."
