I was a bit disappointed with my room this year. There was a dead bug in a dresser drawer, the couch had a dirty spot where someone's head stained it, the carpet was scruffy and the curtains were old and stained. room service was non existent and when I called, I was hung up on three times, didn't get to actually place an order, and while the coffee was eventually delivered to my room, it was with a side of snark. I only asked for what was advertised on the magnet on my room fridge!
Housekeeping was non existent I asked and they never showed up, and when they did, they didn't wipe down the bathroom, coffee area was filthy and not restocked and counter was sticky. A piece of old pizza was left in the microwave! Awful, also no trash bags or toilet paper. The coffee bar in the lobby was empty often and the outdoor seating area was under construction, which was not made know in advance and one reason I wanted to stay there. I've had a $20 credit for the Bistro b4 but that wasn't the case this time, I have stayed before and I truly love the beach access. It is much easier than some other hotels that have higher dunes to travel up it. It's in a great location and the view is amazing but for the price I paid for 6 days I shouldn't have to clean and constantly ask for coffee refills! Also pool was locked before 10 pm and our card didn't work. My teen asked a guest to open it and he was a jerk, didn't want to open the door, even though he saw the key then talked about us openly!!
