I have stayed at Residence Inn properties for well over 6 years now and it is my preferred property when I'm in Southern California. But, I've got to be honest - this probably the worse experience I've ever had at a RI property. 1) The gal at the front desk spoke with such a thick dark accent I could not understand her and she got downright rude and almost mean about it. I'm sorry its late, you're tired and I'm tired - just check us in and be done with it. You do not need to put up an attitude towards a paying customer just because we have a language barrier... the check-in process it the same! 2) The suite was supposed to be 2 rooms, 2 king beds. There was 1 king and 1 queen and the queen bed was broken. 3) Housekeeping did a horrible job cleaning the room. Looked like they put in clean linens and towels and walked out. The tub was scummy and the kitchen counters hadn't even been cleaned. 4) 7AM the next morning, no water pressure and the water was only lukewarm, nowhere close to hot. 5) Breakfast the next morning was old and cold; seriously seemed like it was leftovers from the day before.
I mean seriously, worst RI property I've ever been to and it's new - within the last 10 years anyway and I was quite unhappy. I'm sure I will stay here again due to lack of options and its close proximity to my destination but my next trip will be much longer and I will complain to management if I get service like this again!
